Claude
Project Desk is published in Claude's connector directory. Prefer that route in claude.ai or Claude Desktop; manual MCP setup remains available below. Project Desk grants desk capabilities only; any code or filesystem capabilities come from Claude's own tools and the workspace access you chose.
Not the same thing as Claude's own Projects feature. Project Desk is a separate connector — your account-level work desk, living outside any single chat — not a folder inside Claude.ai.
Preferred: connect through Claude
- Open Claude, then choose Search & tools → Add connectors.
- Find Project Desk and choose Connect.
- Authorize with GitHub, Google, or Microsoft — the same account you use for the desk.

Manual setup instead
- Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the connector URL above and confirm.
- Claude opens a sign-in window — authorize with GitHub, Google, or Microsoft (the same account you use for the desk).
- Start working. Ask Claude to scan your desk — your first project appears on the board automatically.
Good to know
- Successful tool calls return receipts, and the board receives live update signals.
- Use the tool-permission settings you prefer in Claude.
- Project Desk tools affect the authenticated desk only. Owner-only membership tools cannot purchase seats.

Check the connection before resetting it
A browser sign-in, an authorization, and tools in the current AI chat are separate facts. This page cannot inspect your AI app or prove its account matches the browser.
- Confirm the browser account and intended desk. In Project Desk, check the signed-in identity and desk selector. Correct an account or desk mismatch before changing the connection.
- Inspect the Project Desk tools in this AI conversation. A last verified use in Settings → Connected agents proves a past MCP call, not that every chat has loaded the tools. If they are callable, run
atlier_project_scanwith no arguments and select the intended desk explicitly before any write. - If tools are missing, start a new chat or task and check the client's MCP status. The cause can be client configuration, a disabled connector, permissions, authentication, or a transient connection problem; Project Desk cannot identify it from this page.
- If the client reports authentication is required or access was revoked, reauthenticate the affected connector with the same URL. Do not disconnect another client that is still working.
- Use Disconnect only as a targeted last step. In Settings → Connected agents, disconnect the affected client, then re-add the same URL

If a write result was uncertain or reports a conflict, read the project and issue again before retrying. Keep the original freshness guard; a readback tells you whether the first attempt committed.
